About the role
As a senior back-end engineer at Amiqus, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the backbone of our digital solutions, with a specific focus on creating a scalable and efficient back-end architecture that enhances user experiences.

Develop testable, performant and high-quality software using Agile methodologies.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues to drive projects forward.
About you

Desirable
5+ years in developing and maintaining web applications.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming and a good understanding of SOLID/DRY principles.
Extensive commercial experience in PHP MVC frameworks, preferably Laravel.
Good knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Working knowledge of Git version control.
Practical knowledge of Docker.
A meticulous approach to work; you believe that quality is paramount.
Proven background in Agile development processes.
Experience working remotely or as part of a geographically dispersed team.
Nice to have
Previous experience with ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
Good understanding of REST API architecture and implementation. Experience with OpenAPI specification and APIs designs for mobile applications is highly advantageous.
